The FT JN1010 has been independently tested and certified by some of the world's most respected testing and certification bodies. The following is a summary of what has been tested and confirmed.
Tested on the actual 600 ml BOV canister by Advance Firetec and Research Lab (AFTRL), India — an ISO/IEC 17025 accredited laboratory (NABL Certificate TC-7009). A 3A rating means the product successfully extinguished standardised wood crib fires with no re-ignition. Completed February 2025.
Tested on the actual 600 ml BOV canister by AFTRL to BS 6165:2019+A1:2022. A 25F rating makes the FT JN1010 suitable for commercial kitchen and hospitality applications. Completed February 2025.
The product was tested at 35,000 volts with zero current detected — the maximum permitted is 0.5 mA. This confirms the product is safe to use on or near live electrical equipment up to 35 kV. Tested on the actual 600 ml canister by AFTRL, February 2025.
The extinguishing agent was independently tested by Efectis Nederland (Netherlands) — one of Europe's leading fire research laboratories — to EN 1568-3:2008 using N-Heptane flammable liquid fires. Result: Class I extinguishing performance (the highest classification), burn-back level A. Witnessed by a Bureau Veritas Lead Auditor.
The agent has been independently tested for the absence of PFAS compounds (the toxic 'forever chemicals' found in traditional AFFF firefighting foam) by UL Quality Assurance (Report IA18-13597A, USA) using LC-MS/MS analysis, and separately by Pacific Rim Laboratories Inc., Canada. Both confirm PFOS and PFOA are Not Detected.
The agent has been independently assessed and certified as non-toxic by TÜV SÜD PSB Singapore — one of the world's most respected product safety certification bodies.
The FT JN1010 has been tested and certified by the Airport Emergency Service team at Singapore Changi Airport to ICAO Doc 9137-AN/898 Airport Services Manual Part 1 Level B standards. This is the same standard used for aircraft rescue and firefighting operations.
The 600 ml BOV canister has been tested to BS 6165:2019+A1:2022 for: corrosion resistance, impact resistance, resistance to shock and mechanical damage, internal pressure (10.9 bar withstood), minimum burst pressure (24.5 bar achieved), discharge efficiency (98.5%), leakage rate (0% over 24 days), and partial discharge retention. All tests passed.
Fire Terminator International holds current ISO 9001:2015 (quality management), ISO 14001:2015 (environmental management), and ISO 45001:2018 (occupational health and safety) certifications — all valid to November 2027. This demonstrates the product is made under rigorously assessed management systems.
The product holds the Singapore Environmental Council Green Label, recognising it as an environmentally preferred fire safety product.
