Fire Terminator FT JN1010 Hydrodynamic Spray
A 600 ml plant-based fire suppressant rated for every class of fire, including cooking oil and lithium-ion. Ten year life, no servicing, no powder through your kitchen.
The FT JN1010 is the household format of an agent made in Singapore by Fire Terminator International and certified to ICAO Doc 9137 Level B by Singapore Changi Airport, the standard applied to aircraft rescue and firefighting. The same chemistry has been deployed by the Singapore Ministry of Defence, the Indonesian Air Force and the Florida State Firefighters Association.
Why it is different from what you own
- It covers the fires your extinguisher does not. A standard ABE dry powder unit is not rated for cooking oil (Class F) or lithium-ion. This is rated 3A and 25F, and tested on lithium-ion.
- It stops when you stop. Release the trigger and the can reseals. A dry powder extinguisher has to be recharged or replaced after any discharge.
- It cools instead of smothering. The hydrodynamic spray atomises the liquid into a mist fine enough to pull heat out of the fire, which is why it does not flash back.
- You can use it near food. Certified non-toxic by TÜV SÜD PSB. Wipe up with a cloth afterwards.
- It works at any angle, including upside down. Bag-on-valve with compressed air, not a chemical propellant.
